About the app
What is AntPark?
A marketplace where private individuals rent out their parking space, boat berth or EV charger to others. The agreement for the space itself is between you and the other user. AntPark handles the booking and the payment, and is there when something goes wrong.
When can I download the app?
It has not launched yet. Leave your email and we will let you know when it is available in the App Store and Google Play.
How do I create an account?
You sign in with Apple, Google or Microsoft. Before you book or rent out, you verify your mobile number with a code sent by text message. You must be 18 or over.
Booking a space
What does it cost to book?
The price of the space plus a 10% service fee. The full amount is shown before you confirm. If you charge your car, you pay for the electricity actually metered, at the price the owner has set. We take no fee on the electricity.
When is the payment taken?
The amount is reserved on your card when you book and charged when the booking starts. If the booking starts more than six days ahead, it is charged straight away. Monthly parking is charged on the 1st of each month. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Every listing has a rule chosen by the owner: free cancellation up to 2, 12 or 24 hours before the start. For season berths it is 30 days. If you cancel in time, you get the full amount back, including the service fee. If you cancel later, the owner keeps the payment. If the owner cancels, you always get everything back.
When do I get the gate code and the address?
Fifteen minutes before the start, the gate code, space number, street address and directions appear in the app.
The gate will not open, or the space is taken. What do I do?
Write to the owner in the booking’s thread, where there are quick replies for the most common situations. If that does not solve it, open a case on the booking in the app. Cases can be opened up to three days after the booking ends. The other party has three days to respond, and then we decide. The money is held until the case is decided.
Renting out
What does it cost to rent out?
Listing is free. When someone books, a 10% service fee on the price of the space is deducted from what you receive. We take no fee on the electricity you sell through your EV charger.
When do I get paid?
The money is paid out seven days after the booking ends, and goes to your bank account once a week, on Mondays. Season berths are paid out one month at a time. Payouts go through Stripe, which needs to verify your identity before the first payout. This is a requirement under anti-money-laundering rules.
Am I allowed to rent out my space?
You must have the right to rent it out. If you do not own the space, you need permission from whoever does, for example your landlord or housing cooperative. We do not check this, so it is your responsibility. Read the guide to renting out parking.
Can I approve every booking myself?
Yes. You choose instant booking or requests. A request that is not answered within 24 hours is declined automatically. Monthly parking always needs your approval. You block the days when you need the space yourself in the app.
Which EV chargers work?
Chargers that support OCPP 1.6, for example from Easee, Zaptec, Wallbox, Charge Amps, Garo and go-e. You connect the charger through its own OCPP settings. It is unlocked only for renters who have charging in their booking.
Account and privacy
Who sees my phone number?
The other party, once a booking is confirmed. Before that, your name is shown abbreviated. Read more in the privacy policy (in Swedish).
How do I delete my account?
Directly in the app. Ongoing bookings and monthly agreements need to be ended first. Records of amounts and payments are kept for seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act, but are no longer linked to you.
Contact support
Email support@antpark.app. If it is about a booking, please include which space and which date. The terms are available under Terms of use (in Swedish).
